Kapi is a brand created by Kay. The name comes from a childhood nickname her mum gave her, a blend of Kay and happy. She has always loved how joyful it sounds, so she chose it as her brand name, using her imagination and love of colour to share happiness with everyone.

Kay is an illustrator and printmaker currently based in the UK. Alongside her illustration work, she co-founded Ink’chacha, the first Risograph print studio in Hong Kong. She loves colours and is fascinated by how they appear on paper, there’s something so real and satisfying about it. Kay began by illustrating small moments from her daily life, which gradually grew into a passion for printmaking and creating cheerful paper products. Later, she launched her own brand to share her Risograph prints, focusing on the rich textures and tactile qualities of Risograph and screen printing that capture the warmth and feel of her hand-printed artwork.
